In order to deeply communicate with you and create a consistent academic program, we have streamlined our grading policies and philosophies so that you have all of the information in one spot for students in grades 5-12.  In the past, parents/guardians and students have received multiple syllabi or letters home from our teachers, possibly communicating different things to you and possibly having different approaches to teaching, learning, and grading.  Our grading policies and principles are outlined below so that you have a very thorough knowledge-base about how we are going to conduct business this year.  The last page of this document requires signatures from both parents/guardians and students.  Please return the last sheet (only) to your Naval Science instructor (at the high school) or your homeroom teacher (at the middle school).  As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact any one of your child’s teachers.
